Q: What are the system requirements for MakeInstaller?
A: Make Installer system requirements:
CPU: Pentium 200MHZ
RAM: 16 MB
Monitor: minimum 16bit color
OS: Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003

Q: Does Make Installer have a compression for the product files ?
A: Yes, the Make Installer make a single exe compressed file out of your application files. It's compact and makes your product just ready to be downloaded by users from your site.

Q: Do I need to provide my own setup images ?
A: Make Installer is delievered with some default images and you may change them only if you really feel the need.

Q: What images format can I use for the installer ?
A: Currently MakeInstaller supports only Windows bitmap (.bmp) format.

Q: Can I make changes to a saved Setup project ?
A: Yes. Use the Load button and select you project. You can add more files or reset the old files, change the program title/folder etc. When you're done just save again the project and generate a new setup program.

Q: Why is MakeInstaller so cheap ?
A: We designed a basical installer program. Most users do not need complicate configuration interfaces and a ton of features. This is a basic installer program that creates a simple installing application. You don't have to pay more for features you'll never use.
